It's so low activity on this forum, so if nothing changes I will not pay the awaiting bill for the domain name and i'll likvidate this messageboard. I'll give it a couple of weeks before closing.

I just found out about this forum from your post on the Dremel company site. I think it was a good idea. I also understand the dissappoinment you must feel after having nearly a year of online time and so little activity. I'll be sorry to see it go after just having found this forum!

Oh well, that happens. We can still communicate via the Dremel board. I am sure I have read some of your posts there.

I'll give Dremelforum one more chance. I've now paid the bill for the domain name for one more year. So we are still going...

I just found this forum. I recently retired and now I have the time to do things that interest me. Thank you for going ahead for an additional year. Jedinc@ verizon.net

Hi Martin
I had stopped checking on this forum sometime around mid-summer, I think. For some reason, I decided to check to see if dremelforum was still online. Since you are going to keep trying to make it work, I'll start checking in regularly again.

While doing my "mea culpa" for not having come back to the forum for a very long time, (I think that more than one year has passed) I feel very happy to find many friends that have registered. Thank you Martin for keeping this forum open. Enrique I didn't found any dremel forum except Dremels own on the US web site. I decided to start a free one and from the beginning it grow as I expected, but for a half year ago the forum was completely dead and i thought it was better to close the forum. Because the com-address was so cheap I decided to try for one year more.

Please don´t close this forum Due to misssing time I´m not working with my Dremel very often so I don´t have to tell very much, but I hope to keep in contact with other Dremel users all over the world. If it helps, a donation (or participation, don`t know which word fits better), via PayPal by everyone to keep the forum alive could be an idea. What do the others think about it? Schimmel

Hi Schimmel Not to worry, Martin decided to keep the forum open and give it a little more time to mature. The lack of activity on the board was a concern of his, as I recall. As for donations, you will need to contact Martin or wait for him to log on here to see your message. He has several other forums going now and doesn't have as much time to devote to this forum, which is why he asked me to help out. I am usually faster to reply than this, but due to a severe ice storm my power has been out for about 2 weeks. I only managed to log on this time because I was doing some computer work for a client that happens to have power. Keeping the forum alive was the reason behind my acceptance of the moderator/admin position here and on Facebook. With a bit more participation, this forum may remain for a good while yet

Schimmel It's not a money question. It was the lack of activity that make me think closing Dremelforum. The yearly cost for the domain name are so low as the price of two hamburgers in Sweden. Running the forum on Proboards is free. I will thank Spidercurt for his engagement and good work on Dremelforum and Dremel User Group on Facebook.
